TOUCHED FROM THE HEART-TELECARE MINISTRY...IHM has been experiencing the support of a new group the past few months that reaches out to those who have been ill. Calls are made to those whose names appear on the prayer board. Because of the HIPPA ACT and all the confidentiality it entails it has not been easy to minister to this area. IHM seeks to minister to the sick and asks that those who are to be hospitalized or are hospitalized make contact with the parish office to help Father and others who serve at the hospitals know that you are there. There are a dozen members on this telecare team that is coordinated by Joyce Pomaville who place calls and offer prayerful support. PRAYER CIRCLE PARTICIPANTS NEEDED - Many prayer support opportunities are available...If you would like to link with others to pray for the sick of the parish please call JoAnn Angers at 393-3033 FAITH SHARERS NEEDED...Seniors have a wealth of faith experiences that could support the younger generations in living and loving their Catholic Faith. There is a great opportunity to link the generations in religious education. If you would like to write something about "what your Catholic Faith means to you" or "what it was like when you were a youngster growing in your Catholic Faith" and are willing to share it in a testimony booklet that will be shared with the children please call JoAnn Angers at 393-3033. If you are willing to be a guest in one of the religious education classes to respond to the same areas please also call JoAnn.
